Do you know what sound that is?
No, it's not the sound a shark makes when he's following a fishing boat...
Now, I only know this because I have a toddler who is an avid (or rather rabid) fan of Sesame Street...
So, the new season has started and in addition to a new character, the writers of this wonderful show have thrown in a bit of fun for the parents... It turns out they have incorporated a hugely successful night time TV drama into their repetoire of skits... a drama that lives in high rotation on the USA network & one of our current favorites... Law & Order: SVU!
I almost fell off the couch when Dave & I saw it! Turns out the letter 'M' went missing and the Special Letters Unit had to be called in to find him... Could not be funnier! About 4 characters from the real show were muppetized (Elliot, Olivia, the Richard Belzer character (ridiculous true to life) and the Captain)... and that Chum, chum! noise played a central role as well.
And now, I know how to spell that noise that signals the start of an enthralling hour... and it's all because of Sesame Street... love it.

I couldn't agree more....my only issue is that my kid is way TOO into Sesame - how much is too much? I had to pry her weeping body away from the TV last night when I turned it off....
