The other day I pulled out our huge mega pack of Lipton Onion Soup Mix in hopes of discovering something "good" for dinner... and I know the back of the package is not the best place for menu options but in dire times and desperation, this housewife decided why not? So, there's a recipe for meatloaf... eh, again, why not? So I look... we have all the ingredients... well, ya' know what??? It wasn't that bad... who knew? Well, the Lipton people but still, it was good.
So, it turns out... I check out a couple of the other recipes... ah, the joys of the onion soup sour cream dip... delicious. Now, I can't remember when I last had this dip... and better yet accompanied by regular old Ruffles... my poor arteries are hardening as I type this and yet that wonderful combination of cream and onion and salt and crunch is so darn good. Well, we made it the other day and dare I say I so enjoyed it... so much... too much. Such a wonderful old favorite food...
