Ah well... no big thing... I'm not the world's biggest Police fan although I would love to see them in concert but I think all the Sting fans would drive me crazy.
So the Dixie Chicks won a ridiculous amount of awards... and you know what... how does this happen? Honestly? This was a political statement by the Grammys... period. Not a big fan of the Dixie Chicks and I think I've heard maybe 2 of their songs... maybe? Even with Joan Baez introducing them, I just wouldn't have paid that much attention. Just not my style.
Beyonce, Mary J. Blige... for me, yawn.
Justin Timberlake, I see performed... with a camera that he used to shoot his own performance. Interesting... he's cute but again not my bag.
Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend and John Mayer... She's got talent, not really interested and would this guy comb his hair or something... drives me nuts!
Shakira... yes we know you can shake your hips... ok, we get it... enough with the shaking!
The Don Henley tribute might have caught my attention.
Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie and Christina Aguilera... would have stopped to check this out as well.
James Blunt. Does not compute.
Now the Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of my favorite bands of all time... So sorry I missed them although I'm sure I can go on utube and find the performance. So as a diehard fan, even if they didn't give their best I would be like, "I love them! They are great! I want to be there in the front row!!!" If you haven't listened to the new record... it is a must. Both of my children rock out to it! Glad the Peppers got some recognition.
