... helped me make my bed this morning. At about 8:30-ish, he hopped right up on the bed and said, "I help, mama." So sweet. He pulled and tugged and well he "helped." We did a great job and I gave him a high five.
So it's about 2 hours later and we NEED to get out the door and run some errands. I'm scurrying about looking for shoes, extra backpack, wipes, snacks, etc... and then I say to children, yes loudly, say, "Time to go! Let's go!" I hear from my bedroom a bit of playfulness that a 2.5 year old boy and a 4.5 year old girl make often when they are having fun... so I go check to see what's up. Yup, the boy is under the covers kicking and crying and saying, "I baby! Wah!" Um, yes, isn't that sweet they're playing baby... and well, my bed was their "crib." So cute, um, right, so cute.
