Sweet

Did you know that there is a Butterfinger Crunch bar? Or that Kit Kats come in snack sizes that are as big as one stick? Or that they make Jolly Rancher chews? Before Monday's festivities, I had no idea these culinary creations existed... Man, am I out of touch with the candy scene or what?

Needless to say, Halloween was great! We went with Dave's co-worker and his 2 daughters who are about 6 and 8 years old. Ashleigh had a blast... she would walk right up to the doors with the girls and say, "Trick or Treat!" followed by "Thank You" and "Good Night" and the occasional "Have a great day!" (something she picked up when we go to the grocery store). Such a sweetheart... she is wonderful... I said to Dave later in the evening something like, "so this is what it's all about, huh?" Didn't even have to define what "it's" was... we just knew.

More sweet... the next week or so is jammed with stuff... progressive stuff... like getting our furniture in storage, having the carpets cleaned, and getting on with Ashleigh's birthday party. If you want something done, give it to someone who's busy and it'll get done! That's us in a nutshell for the next couple of days.

Looking forward to November and even December... sweet!
