Today, I met another new neighbor. Tim. Nice enough guy. Gives my husband the old rock-n-roll hand signal as a greeting now and then... aka the whammy. His wife helped me out when I had to throw that brick through our window last week. Feels good now that I've met both sides of my neighbors... so far, they seem fairly decent folk. Just like the old ones... hopefully they have just as endearing quirks as the others did.
Seems that Ashleigh cried a bit when I left her at preschool today... sigh. Thank goodness she's resilient. I remember as a child, just balling when my mother left me at kindergarten. A blubbering mess. Miss Dee Dee told her it would be okay and everything was good again at preschool. It's wild to realize that a whole other world occurs without you when you and she have been attached at the hip for so long.
