Random.

* Mother's Day:  Went to the same restaurant as last year... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  Very nice to start brunch with a bottle of this, too.  Dave surprised me by getting me one of these handbags.  Very sweet... quite nice, in fact.  I'd post a photo of the day but I can't find my blasted card reader so until then you'll have to wait.  

* We bought bicycles.  Too fun!  We went out along the canal trails around our house for about an hour and a half.  Ashleigh is on a little bike that attaches to Dave's bike and Ryan is in a trailer.  Both have helmets that make them look ridiculously cute... again, no photos yet.

* Why don't dogs in kids' shows talk?  Like the dog in Word World or the dog in Jack's Big Music Show?  Or Pluto?  Why?

* Dave's work has slowed down a bit... he was able to come home early yesterday.  About 2ish.  So great as compared to the other week.  Nothing is better than hearing the squeals of "Daddy's Home!" over and over...

* Okay, it's supposed to be 96 degrees today and tomorrow about 103.  Ugh.  I thought we left that freakin' heat in Sacramento?  Better stock up on these or these!  (By the way, we watched an Anthony Bourdain show last night where he went to an underground dinner party thing and they served adult flavored otter pops in dry ice... ridiculous!)

* Only 3 1/2 more weeks of preschool left... we've enjoyed every day...
