Sleepover and Preschool.

Ashleigh spent the night at Grammie's house on Wednesday.  She packed about 4 baby dolls, crayons, Lady Dog, and 2 dollars in quarters (see previous post).  I dropped her off and she had a great time.  Went shopping, helped with dinner, had a bubble bath, stayed up late and generally had a fabulous time... Ryan did, too.  He was a trooper and only asked for her once.  Amazing, too, how going to Costco with one child is sooooooo much easier than with 2.

On Thursday afternoon, Grammie told Ashleigh that they would be leaving for our house soon... Her response, "But I don't want to leave, I don't miss my family yet... "  Yup.  She could have stayed a week.

Also, today was the last day of preschool.  Tough for many moms as this was really their last day as their babies were heading to Kindergarten in the fall.  Not us though... with Ashleigh going for another year and Ryan in for three more and our release date well off into the future we'll save our tears (and a hipper of some sort of alcohol) for another day.
